Nydia Erika Bautista, a member of the M-19 guerrilla group, disappeared on August 30, 1987. Her body was found three years later. Her family created a foundation in her honor. Her sister, Yanette, searched for her along with her son, Erik Arellano Bautista. Yanette died in September 2025.
